Hi there! I’m Kriste. I’m so excited to be able to share what we’ve been up to and to connect with a broader community of those living and working remotely, or who are interested in the nomadic lifestyle. Growing up, I was fortunate to be able to travel with my parents (I’m an only child) a few times every year, mostly within the U.S., but also in Europe. I then had the chance to study abroad twice, once for a month in high school in Germany, and for a semester during university in Vienna. After graduating, I took a four month trip to South America, and loved every minute of it. I even discovered, well reinforced really, my love for wine in Argentina and decided to get a job in the industry. That’s how I met Noah! I was selling wine at an event for locally made products, and he was there with his family’s fudge and ice cream business, giving out samples. I love ice cream as much as I love wine, and only slightly less than I love a margarita with fresh lime juice.

After hitting it off at that event, Noah and I started dating. I left the wine industry to go to law school, thinking that I would get back into wine from the legal perspective. I ended up working with small businesses to help with branding, but still love all things wine. Helping many small businesses with their trademarks made me realize that I miss the entrepreneurial side of things, and so I started working for Noah part-time as a marketing specialist (still working as a trademark attorney, but remotely now). The biggest perk of working for your husband, who works for himself? You can work from anywhere. And so here we are! Working from the road in an RV, and hoping to someday do the same sailing in a catamaran.
